Yellow Rose Estates is a manufactured home community located on Stephen F. Austin across from Brownwood Middle School. They have renovated over 40 mobile homes and have new homes on site. The Brownwood and Early Chambers of Commerce will hold their annual law enforcement appreciation luncheon on Friday, May 15 at the Coggin Avenue Baptist Church Connection Center (1715 Coggin Ave) from 11:30 AM to 1:00 PM. This event is intended to honor the men and women in all aspects of law enforcement—who work together to keep the community safe.
Representatives from area law enforcement agencies will be in attendance to announce special honors earned by their department and/or officers. Each of those agencies or departments has been offered the opportunity to announce their Officer of the Year, Rookie of the Year, Investigator of the Year, or whatever awards may be appropriate for their agency.

The Brownwood Area Chamber of Commerce will host their 2015 Annual Chamber Banquet on April 9, 2015. The celebration will be held in the Brownwood Coliseum with the reception at 6:00 PM, dinner at 6:30 PM and the awards presentation slated to begin about 7:00 PM.
Community Service Awards will be presented during the banquet including Stuart Coleman Good Neighbors, Community Partner, Business of the Year, Man and Woman of the Year and the Groner Pitts “Lifetime of Service” Award.
The 2015 Annual Banquet is presented by 3M Company. Gold Sponsor of the event is Citizens National Bank.

The Brownwood and Early Chambers of Commerce held a joint ribbon cutting on Tuesday, March 24th for Brownwood Behavioral Health & Associates-Matthew Lynx, MD PhD as the newest chamber member.
